Accessibility
Last updated October 18, 2026
We want everyone to be able to shop at Santo, including people who use a screen reader, a keyboard, magnification or other assistive technology.
Our standard
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA.
What we've done
- Every product photo has a text description.
- The whole store works with a keyboard alone, and you can always see where the focus is.
- Text and controls meet the WCAG contrast requirements.
- The layout works on screens as narrow as 320 pixels, which also covers zooming in.
- Animations stop when your device is set to reduce motion.
On October 18, 2026 we tested the store with the axe accessibility checker against WCAG 2.1 and 2.2 Level AA, and by hand with a keyboard. The checker found no issues.
Known limitations
- Payment happens in a window run by PayPal, which we can't change. If you have trouble paying, email us and we'll help you complete your order.
- Headings and product names are set in a decorative typeface. These policy pages use a plain one.
